Ways to Help Humane Society of Fremont County
Contributions Help Us Provide Care
We are so thankful for the support we receive from many Colorado communities and from several other areas across the state and country. Your contributions help us provide care and medical procedures for the thousands of animals that pass through our shelter each year.
There are many ways to donate and all donations are tax-deductible as we are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. We also have other ways you can help the Humane Society of Fremont County which may be easier or more fun for you, but certainly helpful to us!
Make a Financial Contribution
Donate Easily Online
Every donation, whatever the amount, helps us care for the animals. Promise!
You can make a monetary donation easily online through our PayPal donation portal. All major credit cards and PayPal accounts are accepted. Of course, we’ll also happily accept a check or cash. :-) Our mailing address is 110 Rhodes Ave., Cañon City, Colorado 81212.
NOTE: Paypal (and Facebook) will deduct a portion of your donation before it is sent to us.
Sponsor a Shelter Cage Program
Support The Sick and Injured Animals!
How would YOU like to have your name and/or business displayed prominently on a large cage plaque of your choice for twelve calendar months (cat or dog) at the Humane Society of Fremont County? Hundreds of people visiting the shelter at Fremont Humane will become aware of your devotion to the animals once they spot your name or business sponsoring a homeless animal’s cage.
Sponsorship Commitment Levels
- Bronze Level: $175.00
- Silver Level: $300.00
- Gold Level: $500.00
Every cage plaque will be the corresponding color to your sponsorship. Money received from the Sponsor-a-Shelter Cage Program is a charitable donation. You are sponsoring a cage for an animal. The animal in the cage you “sponsor” may be adopted or transferred to another shelter or rescue group. If either occurs, the cage you “sponsored” will be filled with another shelter cat or dog. Thank you for supporting homeless animals and our life-saving work in Fremont and Custer County.
